We are looking for a Van Collections Co-ordinator on a fixed term part time basis to ensure the smooth operation of Supplier Collections scheme on a daily basis. You will assist in generating revenue for the business by arranging collections of bulk deliveries from a number of existing customers and or any other third party clients.

Please note that this role is FTC for 6 months part time. The working hours will be Monday – Friday from 2pm to 7pm
You will be accountable for:
Responding to external suppliers with their Stock Collections confirmation details and attach any relevant pallet / carton labels
Ensuring delivery appointments have been made with client either by the supplier or ourselves
Input all Direct Despatch collection requests for customers / clients, these requests will be by telephone or email and to ensure we respond to all emails with confirmation of collection
Liaising with depot supervisors and Management and Hub trunking, regarding any abnormal or special collections via Hermes
For any trailer / 3rd Party carriers, to obtain costs prior to arranging collections
Ensuring trailer numbers are obtained from Depots daily for Stock Deliveries and ensure information is passed on to the relevant Hub
Processing documentation for the relevant Hub and advising on collections and deliveries expected each night and provide loading plans and appointment numbers for the deliveries to our clients, ensuring these are forwarded to Warrington each day with any cancellations to be amended on the documentation.
Producing data for planning team at Rugby with Depot volumes for expected DD traffic the following day
Processing documentation for Trunking before close of business, to confirm all planned trunking collections / deliveries next day and update any scheduled deliveries for the following week
Eradicating any problems which may occur with stock collected or delivered with Depot / Hub Supervisors / Managers. Record all non-conformance on the Atlas system for SLA and KPI reporting
Ensuring POD's received back from Transport for all deliveries made in our client warehouses
Ensuring any client deliveries via Depots (cross docking) are done on the planned day and ensure POD is received back in office. Take ownership for your own delivery
Inputting figures and balance weekly / period end reports when required as per managers / team leaders request
Assisting with producing daily KPI reports of any failed supplier/depot collections for escalation to Client Managers
Assisting the Stock Collection Team leader with checking the invoices from 3rd party carriers against the Atlas system
Ensuring all collections are charged daily as per collection report/POD's
Taking and dealing with calls from Clients / Customers for queries with suppliers
To be successful in this role you will require the following…
