We are delighted to working with a specialist Insurance firm that focus on Taxi and Car Insurance, that are looking for a highly experienced BI specialist to support Data Analytics team deliver company-wide data and dashboards, focusing on team development, data integrity, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement, while prioritising tasks based on impact and contributing hands-on with Power BI dashboards and data requests to align team goals with organisational objectives. Responsibilities Lead a team of 3 BI Analysts responsible for delivering company-wide data and dashboard requests. Proactively support team development through coaching and constructive feedback. Drive efficiencies by applying best practices for data integrity, control, validation, and process improvement. Identify and clarify data gaps and assumptions, explaining definitions and methodologies as needed. Apply a curious, solutions-focused approach to data and process improvements. Confidently engage with stakeholders to understand data needs, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Prioritize tasks based on urgency, impact, and alignment with team and organisational goals. Actively contribute to team workload, including creating Power BI dashboards and handling data requests. Set and align team and individual goals with departmental and organisational objectives. Requirements 4 years experience as a Senior Data analyst or Senior BI analyst Proficient in SQL for writing complex queries, creating stored procedures, optimizing performance, and data extraction, cleansing, and analysis in relational databases. As this company transitions to this platform, the BI Lead will contribute key requirements for the IT team and validate outputs to support the BI and Insight teams' analytics. Skilled in visualising data with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, enhancing stakeholder requests with data insights. In-depth understanding of the claims lifecycle and motor insurance market trends impacting claim behaviours and insurers.
