This includes supplier registration and management, sourcing and contract management and guided buying for purchase to pay. Sitting in the newly established Enablement Team in the Business Services Directorate, this role will own the supplier enablement activities within the Ariba platform. It is key to ensuring a user-friendly and effective buying process is achieved, complemented by efficient payment of properly authorised invoices, in accordance with company policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements. Working within the Supplier Enablement Team, your role brings people, systems and information together by engendering a consistent, client-centric and outcome-focused approach to deliver the value-added end-to-end S2P strategic aims. As Supplier Management is critical to managing the S2P cycle and enabling an end-to-end solution, you will proactively engage with the relevant stakeholders to ensure a diverse range of suppliers are engaged and support the overall Source to Pay strategy and solution, including onboarding vendors to transact with TfL over the Ariba Network. You will manage a team responsible for maintaining the Supplier Lifecycle Planning capability and ensuring the platform supports the overall Buying Process and Value Chain ambitions. Key Accountabilities Proactively lead, engage, influence and work with new and existing Suppliers, ensuring that the correct Suppliers are on-boarded and where possible transacting with TfL via the Ariba Network. Working with the Master Data Management (MDM) team to ensure that the Supplier data is maintained correctly within Ariba. Overseeing the activities are underpinned by robust plans in relation to supplier engagement, taking action to address any issues Provide resolution to complex 2nd line Senior support for Ariba Supplier related issues and risks logged by the Business Services Function Service Desk, liaising with the Supplier Support Manager System Admin team where required. Manage the enablement of suppliers to the Ariba Network supporting electronic transactions between suppliers and TfL. Ensure a high level of efficiency in procurement operations against agreed SLA’s on cycle times and compliance is agreed Support the Enablement Lead with opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes for future suppliers Lead and develop the team to ensure all work activities within the team are successfully delivered with minimum business impact. Deputise for the Enablement Lead when necessary, attending meetings on their behalf and communicating effectively with key Senior stakeholders Knowledge Expert understanding of best practice for the Ariba platform of how Suppliers transact with their customers via the Ariba Source to Pay platform. Good understanding of how Suppliers transact with their customers via the Ariba Source to Pay platform. Skills Good Presentation and Staff Management skills to effectively communicate to the members of the Enablement team. Ability to plan effectively to maximise the effectiveness of the team to ensure a good user and supplier experience of the Ariba platform. Good stakeholder management, both internally and externally when interacting with the 3rd party suppliers.
