Commercial Property Manager (Full Time)
An opportunity has arisen for a property manager to join our small and long-established commercial property firm based in Leeds city centre. Working alongside and reporting to the Managing Partner with administrative support to be provided by the office manager.
Responsibilities:
1. The general management of a diverse range of commercial properties including multi-occupied office buildings, industrial estates, retail units etc.
2. Managing third party contractors for planned and reactive building repairs.
3. Liaise and report direct with clients/Landlords.
4. Day to day liaison and point of contact for Tenants.
5. Rent collection including service charge and building insurance payments.
6. Service charge management and administration including budgeting and producing Year End accounts.
7. Dealing with building insurance and working with appointed insurance brokers.
8. Energy/utility management including electricity and gas contracts.
9. Compliance with health and safety legislation including fire safety records.
10. Ensuring Lease compliance by Tenants.
11. Maintaining tenancy records and diary management.
Key Attributes:
1. Experience in commercial property management though full training will be provided.
2. Ability to work to tight schedules/deadlines.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
4. Possess full UK driving licence and have use of own car.
Full Time: Monday to Friday between 9.00am - 5.30pm with a degree of flexibility.
Annual salary: Starting at £25,000 depending on experience.
Performance and pay review after 12 months.
