Capacity Planning & MI Analyst

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Capacity Planning & MI Analyst to join our Resource Planning team in our Nursing department. The Capacity Planning & MI Analyst will be responsible for managing capacity planning and delivering insightful management information within the Nursing Service. The position is full-time Monday - Friday and is based in Runcorn.

Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely MI, statistical data and insightful analysis in line with business needs
* Compile and produce regular and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators and business metrics
* Develop and maintain an MI reporting system utilising PowerBI and MS Excel to aid continuously improving efficiency in data analysis and presentation
* Identify and analyse trends, providing recommendations to support business planning and service improvement
* Respond to queries and requests for information, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Design and create spreadsheet-based reports that provide actionable insights in a clear and usable format
* Collaborate with Nurse Managers and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
* Assist in analysing existing processes and data to identify opportunities for optimization
* Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather insights and feedback
* Maintain an operational plan for the Nursing service, ensuring alignment with business needs
* Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms on key business metrics to support performance monitoring
Qualifications/experience
* Experience in a similar capacity planning or MI role
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
* Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools and other reporting software
