Qualified SEN Teacher Wanted in Cranleigh!
* Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 (with regular pay progression)
* Location: Cranleigh
* Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Tuesdays are a must!)
* Hours: 34.75 hours/week – Mon to Fri, 9am to 4:30pm (Tuesdays till 5:30pm for staff meetings and training)
Are you a passionate teacher with a knack for Music, PE, Art & Design, Food Tech, Science, or Computing & ICT? Join our 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated day school for autistic children aged 4-19! Lead a small class of 3-6 pupils, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them thrive.
What You'll Do:
* Teach a small class with individualised curriculums.
* Plan and implement school-wide curriculum for your subject and organise themed days and events.
* Manage pupils’ curriculum targets and vocational qualifications.
* Support pupils on trips, bringing theory to life.
* Provide behaviour support to improve quality of life.
* Collect and analyse data to monitor progress.
* Help with breaktime duties, including playground support and snack time.
What You Need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching & Learning Status (QTLS).
* Experience in the UK school system and knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
* Interest in SEND.
* Comfort working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours.
* Willingness to support with personal/intimate care if needed.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with all stakeholders.
