Part-Time Senior Practice Nurse (2-3 Days Per Week) – Central London

We are seeking a highly skilled nurse to take on a senior role, combining both clinical and managerial responsibilities. The position requires attendance on either Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, offering flexibility to suit individual schedules.

Key Responsibilities
* Delivering expert nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting doctors with clinical procedures.
* Participating in compliance-related responsibilities, ensuring adherence to CQC regulations, infection control policies, and clinical governance standards with support.
* Competence in cervical smear screenings is an advantage but not essential.
* Supporting the development and implementation of policies, assisting with audits, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
* Conducting phlebotomy, wound care, and assisting in minor diagnostic tests.
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff, promoting a high standard of patient care.
* Overseeing equipment and stock management to ensure smooth clinical operations.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (NMC Pin) with significant experience in outpatient or women’s health nursing.
* Strong leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative in driving compliance and quality improvements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems.
* Commitment to continuous professional development, with a willingness to undertake further training as required.
* Experience in cervical screening is beneficial but not mandatory.
Schedule & Work Location
* Part-time, 2-3 days per week, with flexibility to work on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
* Shifts range from 16 to 24 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours based on performance and clinic needs.
* Work location: In-person at our Central London clinic.
Salary & Employment Terms
* £16,200 - £24,300 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience and qualifications.
* This is a permanent position, subject to a successful probationary period.
* Further salary increases are possible based on performance, and the role has the potential to transition into a full-time position depending on business needs and individual performance.
