As a Senior Risk & Control Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in our first line of defence, being a trusted advisor to departments. Your expertise will help us manage risks and implement control environments, ensuring that our business operations align with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
This is a hybrid role reporting into the Director of Risk & Control Operations
Work that matters - What you'll do
* Risk Identification: Collaborate with teams to manage risks, establishing a balanced control environment.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including the FCA's Consumer Duty.
* Customer Outcomes: Advocate for customer-centric business propositions.
* Collaboration: Liaise between risk and control departments and business units, promoting best practices.
* Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver risk management training programs.
* Risk-Based Decision-making: Support informed decision-making by providing a comprehensive view of risk exposures.
* Issue Resolution: Help resolve risk and control issues.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates on risk management activities to senior leadership.
Qualifications
What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian
* Business & Risk Integration: Ability to map business processes, integrate risk management into decision-making, and build relationships with teams.
* Risk Management Expertise: Proficiency in assessing, and mitigating risks, with an understanding of risk management principles and practices.
* Regulatory & Internal Policy Compliance: Awareness of industry regulations and governance structures.
* Communication & Collaboration: ability to conduct training sessions, and deliver insightful reports.
* Problem-Solving: Strategic focus and ability to implement controls navigating complexity
* Change Management: Experience in managing projects and assessing risks associated with operational changes.
