Join to apply for the Clerical Officer role at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a motivated and professional Clerical Officer to join our Sterile Services Department, a vital area within our organisation that plays a critical role in infection prevention and patient safety. This position is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Clerical Officer, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will be at the heart of departmental operations—handling enquiries, maintaining accurate records, managing correspondence, and ensuring the efficient processing of key documentation.
This is a customer-facing role, requiring frequent interaction with internal colleagues and external partners. As such, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You’ll be a key point of contact, supporting departmental leadership while also assisting with important tasks such as data collection, recruitment coordination, and minute-taking.
Your contribution will directly support the Sterile Services team in delivering a high-quality, responsive service to all users across the hospital and beyond. This is a great opportunity to become part of a professional team in a supportive working environment, where attention to detail and commitment to service excellence are highly valued.
To understand the role in more detail, please refer to the attached job description and person specification.
Thank you for your interest in this role.
