Role Description
Accountabilities/Competencies to be demonstrated in line with site competency matrix (see associated document). In summary, some of the principal accountabilities are as set out below; for full detail, review the competency matrix.
1. Positive and proactive response is required to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards, GMP standards, training, and supervision.
2. Uses and adheres to Company processes/systems.
3. Demonstrates competent numeracy & literacy skills to interpret data and work instructions.
4. Demonstrates effective team working & communication skills.
5. Ability to perform repetitive tasks to specified standards.
6. Ability to adapt according to business pressures/needs, i.e., plan changes.
7. Ability to learn routine procedures and perform to specified standards and processes.
8. Takes responsibility for providing satisfactory standards of work against expected levels.
9. Flexibility to be moved/trained across the site and to utilize skills in other departments.
10. Ensure operation of equipment and work practices as trained when required.
11. Effective cleaning of lines and equipment to required standards.
12. Receptive to/participate in being trained for other lines/processes.
13. Supporting and training new team members on lines/processes you are competent in performing.

Role Requirements
1. Experience within a food-processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards would be desirable but not essential.
2. Competent numeracy/literacy skills.
3. Competencies to be demonstrated in line with site competency matrix.
