Job Description
* Lead and manage a team of operators, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
* Manage work-flow, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
* Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
* Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all colleagues.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Support the ongoing training and development of your team to build their skills and knowledge.
* Drive team performance to meet production targets and deliver exceptional results.
* Ensure all operations align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience leading a production team, preferably within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing a team of around 15-20 colleagues with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop people.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to enforce these effectively.
* Familiarity with Continuous Improvement processes and Quality Assurance practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with a focus on prioritising and managing multiple responsibilities.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
