Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products. Role: As a member of the Injection Moulding team, you will ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process and focus on achieving the highest levels of product quality whilst minimising waste. Responsibilities: Ensure the manufactured product meets the required quality standard Maintain & facilitate the removal/packaging of the product from the machine Moving pallets with a pump truck into designated areas ready for loading Adhere to all company H&S procedures and policies in all daily activities Able to carry out some manual handing tasks Achievement of production targets Polypipe procedures/processes are adhered to Maintain Quality standards Maintaining a clean and safe environment to a high standard of housekeeping Requirements: Previous experience within in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Safety conscious Adaptable / flexible approach Team Player Good communication skills Positive work ethic Commitment and reliability Work on own initiative Hours of work: Working Monday - Friday rotating days, nights & afters covering 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm / 10:00pm-6:00am Rate of pay: £11.65 per hour plus £2.50 per hour extra for hours worked between 10:00pm - 6:00am.
