Description As a Finance Assistant, you'll be integral to the smooth running of the company's financial operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include: Processing payroll, CIS subcontractor invoices, and supplier payments. Managing sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and VAT compliance. Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accurate financial records. Handling debtor control and fostering strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Supporting energy usage tracking, fleet vehicle management, and ad hoc financial tasks. Profile A successful Finance Assistant should have: Qualifications: A-levels (or equivalent) in accounting/business studies. AAT qualified or working towards it (essential). Experience: Payroll processing experience is essential; Xero and CIS knowledge are advantageous but not mandatory. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail. About You: You're enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn.
