We have an opportunity for a Domiciliary Care & Support Worker to join our Extra Care Housing Scheme; Hazel Court in Sketty, Swansea. As part of the Domiciliary Care Team, you will work on a rota basis to ensure care provision to our residents. What you’ll be responsible for… Provide tenants with appropriate personal care as required, including assisting with medication, personal hygiene (incontinence care) and manual handling where this is identified within care plans. Work with individual tenants to deliver care and support in their homes. Ensure familiarisation with, and adherence to, all relevant policies and procedures. Assist tenants with practical day-to-day tasks, e.g.: simple meal preparation, washing up, if required as part of their support. Inform senior staff of progress or untoward situations relating to tenants' health, changing needs Attend team meetings or training sessions as required. Ensure comprehensive records are maintained in line with procedures. Participate in the assessment, delivery and review of support as required. Be familiar with Health & Safety guidelines and policies as advised. Work at all times in a positive, co-operative, and supportive manner.
