Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine upgrade maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical installations and equipment.
* Fault finding and rectification previous experience would be desirable.
* Knowledge of electrical safe isolation procedure and safe working practices
* Install, test, and inspect electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and panels, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
* Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system upgrades and modifications.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
* General electrical testing and awareness of required legislation.
* Some Digital literacy and IT skills, with a understanding of Microsoft office products, including Microsoft Forms.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Other:
* Position: Electrical Technician
* Schedule: Monday to Friday - Away from Home 5 days a WEEK
* 6am start on a Monday to travel to location - could be Aberdeen ) first 2 hours overtime - all travel time paid, all lunches, breakfasts, hotels paid)
* Location: Various locations throughout the UK (Monday to Friday travel)
* Expenses: All travel expenses will be covered
* Resources Provided: Transport and tools will be supplied.
* MUST have driving license - will use company pickup
