Job Title: Project Manager - Permanent
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum
Location: Cambridgeshire, UK
My client is a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor delivering a variety of services within the Highways and Infrastructure sector across the UK for an impressive list of public and private sector clients. Due to a continuation in contract success and company expansion, they're looking for a permanent Project Manager with structural and civil experience to join the team within the Cambridgeshire area.
To be considered for the role, you should have:
1. Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years working on site as a Project Manager with strong working knowledge of structural, civils, and highways construction.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
1. Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
2. Ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Oversee all health, safety, and environmental practices, fostering a strong safety-first culture.
4. Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining excellent relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Proactively monitor and report on project progress, addressing challenges swiftly and efficiently.
6. Review drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Requirements:
1. At least 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on highways, structures, or civils projects.
2. A strong understanding of construction processes, safety, and project delivery.
3. A degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
4. Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. CSCS Card, SMSTS certification, and a full UK driving license.
6. EUSR certification (not essential).
