The Older People’s Day Centre is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for older adults by offering a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, who embodies enthusiasm and creativity. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and ensuring their well-being.
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.
All about You
* You will have a genuine passion for working with older adults.
* You are a good communicator, have good interpersonal skills, and are able to work as part of a team.
* You have the ability to plan creative activities and take part in these with enthusiasm.
* You may have experience in a similar role (this is desirable but not essential).

We support clients with a range of complex needs and conditions, including dementia and Parkinson’s – helping to reduce social isolation, improve and maintain clients’ health and wellbeing, and their ability to continue living in their own homes and maintaining their independence for as long as is safely possible.
