Job Overview
Our service is part of the Human Resources Directorate, providing occupational health and wellbeing support to both Trust staff and external customers. The postholder will work in our satellite department based at Cannock Hospital and on various external client sites, so a car driver/owner is essential.

* Providing new starter clinics
* Assessing fitness for work
* Providing advice on reasonable adjustments
* Supporting infection prevention, such as outbreak management
* Administering vaccinations appropriate to job role
* Supporting the staff seasonal vaccination campaign
* Aligning with changes in national guidance
Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
* Run routine new starter/vaccination clinics as directed by the Specialist Nurse Team Leader.
* Undertake pathology tests and have competent venepuncture skills.
* Support outbreak management as necessary.
* Risk assess and provide appropriate treatment/advice following sharps/splash incidents.
* Undertake management referrals regarding skin assessments.
* Support health surveillance schedule as required.
* Undertake relevant training required to fulfill the role.
Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* Diploma/Degree in Adult Nursing
Desirable criteria:
* Vaccination administration training, venepuncture training evidence, health assessment training evidence
Hospital Experience
Essential criteria:
* 2 Years Experience in acute/primary care setting
Desirable criteria:
* Occupational Health Experience/vaccination role
