The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.\n\nOn behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a UX Researcher / Designer for a 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.\n\nPurpose of the Role:\n\nYou will lead, define and conduct investigations of customer experiences for current and prospective onboarding journeys for the clients unsecured lending products, which are delivered across multiple platforms from desktop to web, from mobile to tablet devices, for both browser based experiences and native apps.As a UX Researcher / Designer you will be responsible for:\n\nWorking closely with product owners, UX Designers, Visual designers, and other stakeholders to identify Human Centred Design (HCD) challenges at the proposition, conceptual / structural, and UI design for a given product or service.\nDevelop necessary research materials and carry out and report results of research / testing activities (both formal and on an ad hoc basis) using a variety of techniques and tools to elicit insight necessary to make informed and HCD decisions.\nCollaborate in the development of high level storyboards and journey mapping.\nConduct customer research to inform and support product decisions.\nCollaborate across teams and contribute to the activity backlog.\nApply insight and thought leadership to UX challenges.\nContribute to design related tasks.\nSupport the wider team and product owner with UX thinking and prototyping.What we require from the candidate:\n\nE-commerce experience is mandatory (buying journeys, customer acquisition, etc.)\nMust have worked on customer facing products.\nExperience with tools like Figma or Sketch.\nPrototyping and design thinking skills highly desirable.\nDigital based research.\nExperience of shaping and scoping research approach to meet customer and business objectives.\nExperience in UX design and associated techniques is desirable.Next steps\n\nThis client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.\n\nIf you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.\n\nAMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
