We love what we do here and are looking to recruit Community Living Assistants for our West of Scotland Housing Support & Care at Home services based in Glasgow, Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire.
The role – Community Living Assistant
We support adults with a variety of disabilities, who receive 24 hour care, in their own homes and community. You will be assisting our customers with either one-to-one or two-to-one care; your day will include helping them with their personal care, dressing, medication, communication, mealtimes and participating in their chosen activities for that day.
You will assist with their daily living routines, care needs and facilitating their attendance at college, appointments, recreational activates & social events. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a skill or passion to share such as sports, music or photography – if you love it, this will shine through to the people you support, giving them a taste of new experiences whilst learning new skills.
What you need to know
Hours: Full time, part time and relief, up to 30 hours per week (overtime available). We provide care 24/7 and we seek applications from people with a flexible approach to working, working a mix of early and late shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Location: Various locations available across Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Glasgow. The role involves supporting people in their own home and to manage their own tenancy, as well as community based support.
Job Description: Community Living Assistant
Driving licence (manual vehicles) with access to a vehicle are essential for this role - due to the location of our customers and their support needs. If you do need to go out and about with our customer, for that dinner or cinema trip, your costs are covered.

A generous salary of £12.06 per hour - £23,266.00 FTE (or £12.35 per hour, dependent on qualifications)
We recognise and reward qualified employees offering £12.35 per hour for those qualified at SVQ3 or above.
