Kickstart your career with a 12-week summer placement and start building your future today.  What youâll do  As a Procurement & Supply Chain Intern, youâll be part of our award-winning, CIPS Platinum accredited team, helping to source the goods and services that keep everything running smoothly. Youâll get a real feel for the procurement process, making sure we buy what we need in a fair, transparent, and cost-effective way â all while following public procurement rules.  Youâll dive into the practical side of things, supporting the sourcing of materials and services, managing supplier relationships, and helping with contracts and negotiations. Itâs a great way to learn the ins and outs of procurement, and how to make sure weâre always getting the best value for money.  What sets this internship apart is the chance to get involved in exciting projects that focus on sustainability, Net Zero, and innovation. Youâll work alongside teams exploring fresh ways to collaborate with suppliers and industry bodies on key environmental goals, helping to drive positive change in our supply chain.  In this hands-on role, youâll build your skills in strategic thinking, project management, and business development, while getting involved in real projects that make a difference. Youâll also have the chance to shape your own projects and take ownership of your work, making an impact from day one. Plus, youâll gain valuable insight into how procurement is a key player in achieving our long-term sustainability goals.  This is a paid summer internship with an hourly rate of £12.60, aligned with the Real Living Wage. This is typically a full-time position (35 hours), but weâre open to discussing flexible working patterns where possible to suit your needs. For a 35-hour week, the equivalent annual salary would be around £23,020, pro-rated for the length of the internship.  What youâll need⯠⯠  Youâll be in the penultimate year of university, or maybe about to do a Masters. Either way, youâll be on course for at least a 2:2 degree. And it goes without saying that you will be available for the full placement time: 12 weeks .    You will be studying towards a Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, Legal, Social Sciences, or even Sustainability.
