Job summary We are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our busy GP practice who will be the first point of contact for patients, contractors, and visitors as well as carrying out general office management tasks. Main duties of the job This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised and an effective communicator who can provide a professional and warm welcome to our patients, ensuring every contact is of the highest quality. About us We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, efficient and professional service for approximately 25,000 patients operating over 3 sites, two sites are in Gorleston and one in Hopton. The practice has a dynamic team of GPs, ANPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Practice Nurses, HCA's, Phlebotomist, a Managerial team and administrative support staff. We are active members of the Gorleston Primary Care Network. We are a well established training practice, involved with GP Registrars, Foundation Year 2 trainees. Other Tasks Ensure building security have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm. Understand fire drill and panic alarm procedure. Stock up clinical room. Make coffee for Doctors/colleagues. Any other tasks allocated by senior staff Attend all training required by the organisation.
