Loading Operatives Shift Pattern Availability: (4 out of 7) Hours: 6pm-6am or 6am – 6pm Salary: Starting rate of £11.73, increasing to £12.04 once full trained. Location: Wellington Parkway, Magna Park, Lutterworth, LE17 4XW/ Geary’s bakeries LE3 The Role Our Operatives are (quite literally) the bread and butter of Geary’s. You’re responsible for ensuring the delicious bread we produce and package is of the best possible quality, that adds a spark of joy to people’s daily lives. Your main responsibilities include: Checking Goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages & completing paperwork Assist with stock takes Load and unload vehicles in line with H&S procedures Moves goods around to relevant departments – using FLT or manual and Electric pump trucks Notify relevant departments if any shortages occur on deliveries Liaising with the technical team if a non-conformance need raising Physically moving stock onto pallets Ensure all stocks movements are accurately recorded About Us At Geary’s, we’re on a crusade to make proper bread more accessible to more people.
