You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions, meet customer needs and help achieve overall business growth objectives. Our customer base comprises of poultry integrations, large home mixers, the compound feed industry, agricultural merchants / Co-ops and agri-distributors, Key Accountabilities: Uncover and develop the needs and requirements of the custome r, link these to relevant Trouw Nutrition products and solutions E stablish and build strong customer relationships that ove r time allows for strong business relations and ongoing representat ion reinforced by sales and technical support. Participate with other sales and commercial n utritionists and management to devel op sales strategies for accounts and help identify target accounts and product and service opportunities. Help o rganise customized customer seminars, internal staff training an d help coordinate applicable customer marketing activities. Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated Facilitate the customers to meet technical training demands using other team members where Use initiative to identify new business opportunities and ways of developing new Trouw/Customer relationships Provide support and direct advice on a very large and diverse range of areas, nutrition, NIR, QC, Legislation, sales training, on farm support, FA sales, regular engagement with key people within our customer base involving sales, technical, QC, management etc. Participate in localised innovations in conjunction with key customers, to reinforce Trouw representation and sales In addition, any other dutie s deemed necessary by the country Poultry Director. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Requirements: Essential: Educated to degree level in a related discipline Strong working knowledge of poultry nutrition Experience of developing and nurturing positive relationships and influencing people at a senior level Team player with strong negotiation, presentation, contractual and legal skills Adept at persuasive selling, sales processes and tools In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials Desirable: Knowledge, qualifications, or experience of the following would be an advantage: At least 3 years of technical selling and a ccount m anagement experience in a business-to-business and business -to-farm environment Previous experience working in the agriculture industry preferably within the poultry sector. Job will be home based with occasional travel to Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
