Our client, a prominent entity in the IT sector, is currently seeking a talented Software Asset Manager to join their IT Optimisation - IT Operations team in Bournemouth. This permanent, full-time role offers a hybrid working pattern, requiring you to be in the office for 2 days per week. Our client is also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and managing centralised policies, processes, and procedures for the management of software assets.
* Overseeing the rollout, maintenance, and administration of software asset management solutions and their integration with other systems.
* Recording license entitlements, re-harvesting, and identifying areas for cost optimisation.
* Designing, developing, and maintaining workflow approvals for software license management requests.
* Ensuring accurate and timely reporting, addressing data completeness and quality issues.
* Managing inquiries regarding software usage, deployment, and license availability.
* Supporting responses to software vendor license compliance audits.
* Monitoring changes to license terms and conditions, and alerting relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
