Project manager required for a circa 6-month mechanical installation project in Wrexham. Paying a rate of circa £460.00 per day, self employed/Limited company basis.
The project will involve the installation of new machinery and the Modification of existing equipment and machinery. You will be overseeing various trades on site such a mechanical, electrical, and hot work. Also liaising with the client and writing progress reports, while keeping an eye on the schedule etc so dates don’t slip, and the project falls behind. Also making sure the correct plant and equipment are on site while coordinating deliveries for the install teams etc. Previous CDM experience would be beneficial.
We’re looking for a Site manager who has previous experience of running mechanical / machinery installations projects. So, for example, experience in running installation projects in factories, car plants, distribution centres or similar.
The role will be client facing and responsible for commercially, contractually and schedule wise, experienced in cost control/tracking and be able to demonstrate good practice. Experience of schedule control, understanding critical paths and impacts of delay/acceleration.
A good understanding of site H&S operations, H&S documentation with the focus on compliance with regs/standards.
