The Role: Take Ownership & Drive Excellence As a Customer Service Area Controller, you’ll take full responsibility for managing customer service operations within your assigned geographical area. You’ll ensure customers’ equipment is serviced, maintained, and repaired efficiently, while providing an exceptional experience every step of the way. You’ll be responsible for: Owning the customer experience – from initial contact to resolution, ensuring service excellence. Working closely with the Area Sales Manager to deliver top-tier after-sales service. Managing customer queries and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. Building strong customer relationships, providing clear and transparent communication. Recording and overseeing customer calls from receipt to invoicing, ensuring smooth service flow. Processing and invoicing jobs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. About You: We’re looking for someone with a customer-first mindset and the drive to deliver outstanding service. You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of challenges. You’ll need: ✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – you’re friendly, approachable, and proactive. ✔ A keen eye for detail – efficiency, accuracy, and strong organisational skills are key. ✔ A proactive approach – self-motivated and willing to take the initiative. ✔ Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. ✔ Strong technical proficiency – experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel, with CRM/database experience preferred. ✔ Previous customer service experience – at least one year in an administrative or reception role in a busy office.
