Site Agent Opportunity – Civil Engineering Contractor
We are delighted to represent a valued client, a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor specialising in renewables, infrastructure, and flood protection projects. They are seeking a proactive Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
This exciting role is primarily based in Argyll, with the potential for travel across Scotland. As the Site Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager, playing a key role in the effective management and successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and organise on-site labour efficiently.
* Optimise the use of resources on-site.
* Deliver contracts safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and registers.
* Enforce company safety procedures.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships both on and off-site.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering and site management, including:
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Demonstrated success as a Site Agent delivering civil projects.
* Essential experience in civil engineering; experience with windfarm projects is desirable.
* A thorough understanding of health and safety policies.
* A methodical and organised approach to tasks, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and Project Costing Software.
* A valid CSCS card.
* A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel as required.
