Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student Assist students in building confidence, improving academic performance, and developing crucial life skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practises Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a teaching or tutoring role Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN teaching Experience with specific SEN conditions such as Autism, Dyslexia, or ADHD Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in educational institutions or in students' homes Potential travel within the region to meet students' needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
