About The Role Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are seeking an HR professional to join our People and Development function as a People Services (HR) Advisor within the Policy and Reward team, on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Senior People Services (HR) Advisor (Policy and Reward team), you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment contributing to people services reward related projects and implementing People Services (HR) policies, procedures, and guidance that support the Constabulary’s vision and priorities. By developing a thorough understanding of the organisation and with an ability to effectively contribute to policy and reward related projects, you will support on a variety of projects, engaging with key stakeholders; ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely manner and in line with organisational priorities, policy, and legislative requirements. Whilst the role is contractually based at HIOWC’s Strategic Headquarters in Eastleigh, hybrid working will be available to those joining the team. Essential Experience Experience in a generalist HR or similar role, providing advice to a range of managers on People Services (HR) policy. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with managers and staff at all levels and an ability to constructively challenge and resolve problems accordingly. Good communication skills (both written & oral). Understanding and working knowledge of relevant UK employment legislation. Essential Qualifications Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
