STADA UK Thornton & Ross – IT Support Apprentice
Huddersfield | U.K. | Full-time | Fixed-Term 24 Months
In this newly created role, you will be immersed in the Global Information Service (GIS) team at STADA. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable experience in IT support, network management, and asset management. Your contributions will directly support our IT team in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery across the organisation. This role is essential in enhancing our IT infrastructure and supporting our strategic objectives.
This role is specifically aimed at a GCSE, A-Level or T-Level student who is looking for the first step on the career ladder. Alongside your role as the IT Support Apprentice, you will undertake the 18-month Information Communications Technician (Level 3) Apprenticeship to achieve your qualification through a mixture of on-site and online academic learning.
How You Will Make an Impact
On a day to day basis your key responsibilities will include:
1. Being the first point of contact for all UK IT support requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
2. Maintaining software and hardware asset management, you will help optimize our IT resources.
3. Support the team in Service Acceptance and Transition, ensuring smooth integration of new systems.
4. Participate in team meetings and projects that drive positive improvements and innovation.
What We Are Looking For
1. Educated to at least GCSE level, with passes at grade 4 or above in English, Maths and an IT qualification (or predicted grades if completing A levels in summer 2025).
2. A keen interest in IT and technology, eager to learn and adapt to new advancements.
3. A basic understanding of computer systems and networks allows you to tackle technical challenges with confidence.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders in person, by phone, chat messaging and email.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Attention to detail and creativity.
7. Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
