Julian House is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We run several projects and every year we help thousands of people out of homelessness, into employment, away from domestic abuse, and more. Volunteer Role: Outreach Volunteer Hours: Flexible, this can range from 2 hours a month to 2 hours per week Location: Exeter Additional information: This role is subject to a DBS (disclosure & barring service) check being completed The Role: We are looking for self-motivated, outgoing and empathetic people who are wanting to volunteer within our Outreach Team. You'll be buddying up with our Rough Sleeper Prevention Workers to provide support to vulnerably housed, rough sleepers or someone who is using homelessness services in Exeter. This role will involve walking around Exeter and engaging with people during Outreach hours (early mornings / evenings). Although this is a flexible role, commitment will be agreed with individuals depending on their availability.
