Responsibilities of the role Building strong working relationships with hiring managers to understand their particular needs and requirements Identifying, sourcing and attracting the very best talent which includes creating imaginative solutions for hard to fill vacancies or to increase applicant numbers Working closely with the Hiring Managers and the HR Team to design and implement effective recruitment practices Providing expert advice on all recruitment activity and ensuring that all regulatory and company requirements are met Working with the HR Director to implement an effective Recruitment & Retention Strategy Building relationships with recruitment agencies, and maintaining an effecting PSL Working with HR, IT and Payroll to ensure that onboarding processes are as efficient as possible Maintaining an ATS (Hireful), keeping this up to date and managing job adverts where required Ensuring that we have an exceptional candidate journey for both successful and unsuccessful candidates Being an advocate and promoter of Payplan career opportunities utilising all methods including social and professional media Helping Payplan to become an “employer of choice” Conducting surveys with existing colleagues to identify where we can improve as a business Presenting survey data to the HR Director and other stakeholders and suggesting solutions Using collected data to monitor colleague happiness and satisfaction, helping the Senior Leadership Team identify areas of improvement Supporting the retention of excellent colleagues Skills and knowledge of a successful candidate Previous resourcing or recruitment experience in a fast paced environment (ideally in a regulated environment where extensive pre-employment checks are required) Experience of creating solutions to recruitment difficulties Ability to collect and utilise data to shape decisions on recruitment methods A commercial mindset with the ability to analyse and improve performance Excellent people skills; able to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates and recruitment partners alike Excellent organisational skills, able to handle multiple vacancies and competing priorities A knowledge of staff surveys and their importance Familiarity with various options for employee benefits We’d love to discuss how you can help shape the future of recruitment here.
