Job Description
About Two
At Two, we provide tenants and office occupiers with a tailored package to meet their relocation or refurbishment needs. Our work has been recognised both nationally and internationally, earning prestigious awards and a reputation for excellence in the industry.
With integrity and mutual respect at our core, we forgo strict hierarchies and instead foster a culture that empowers you to excel. Unlike many firms that prioritise profit alone, we focus on client satisfaction and take pride in delivering exceptional projects.
We boast one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry, with many team members having worked together for over a decade. If you’re a talented professional in design, project management, engineering, commercial management, or sales, and feel your current role doesn’t allow you to reach your potential, consider joining a team that values your skills.
The Role
Based at our London Victoria office, you will play a key role in our award-winning team, driving technical accuracy and innovative solutions on large, high-profile projects. Working closely with our Interior Designers, you will produce advanced Revit models, construction drawings, and technical specifications while liaising with subcontractors and in-house teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
* Revit Model Development: Create, develop, and manage detailed Revit models for each project stage, ensuring models meet both internal standards and client requirements.
* Technical Drawings & Documentation: Generate accurate construction drawings, schematics, and documentation for both client presentation and contractor use, demonstrating a high level of precision and clarity.
* Collaboration with Design Teams: Work alongside the Interiors team to integrate design concepts into technical solutions, contributing to creative yet functional outcomes.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with in-house construction teams and external subcontractors, coordinating timelines and technical details to facilitate efficient project delivery.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all technical documents adhere to regulatory codes and industry standards, including building regulations, fire safety, and accessibility guidelines.
* Material Selection & Detailing: Evaluate and select appropriate materials, finishes, and products, detailing specifications that align with the project’s design intent and client requirements.
* Problem-Solving: Identify potential design or construction challenges early on, proposing viable solutions that maintain quality, budget, and timeline.
* Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of all technical drawings and Revit models, ensuring alignment with project goals, client expectations, and safety standards.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as a technical liaison, providing clear and concise updates to clients, contractors, and project managers.
* Mentoring Junior Staff: Support and guide junior team members in technical skills, promoting best practices in Revit use and project documentation.
* Project Close-Out: Assist in project completion by preparing as-built documentation and coordinating with construction teams for final adjustments.
What You’ll Bring
* A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferable.
* Extensive experience as a Technical Designer, Architectural Designer, or Revit Technician within the interior design or construction industry.
* Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) with a strong portfolio demonstrating Revit-based projects.
* Experience with pattern-making, technical problem-solving, and practical design adjustments.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to work effectively with various stakeholders.
* A detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach with a commitment to quality.
What We Offer
* Competitive Salary: £45-50k per annum, dependent on experience.
* Pension Scheme: Secure your future with our company pension plan.
* Generous Annual Leave: 26 days + bank holidays.
