Island Veterinary Associates are looking for a dedicated GP Vet to join their team! The successful candidate will carry out several vet duties including First Opinion veterinary Consults, Vaccinations, Health Checks, Neutering, General Surgery and Diagnostics to name but a few! We're keen to support candidates that may be relocating for the role, so we can offer a relocation allowance of up to £5000 to help you make the move.
Fix or flex - find your perfect balance
We are happy to accept both full/part-time applications for this role, working on average 40 hours across 4 days per week, on a shared rota with a fair shift pattern. You will be required at work 1:6 Saturdays and there is no out of hours however you may need to cover inpatient care should the need arise.
About Us
We are a friendly, small animal practice based in the county town of Stafford, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We have great links to public transport and excellent rail access to anywhere in the UK. Newly refurbished premises - 5 consulting rooms with large waiting area based in a prominent position. Our new practice is light and airy with a large clinical space upstairs including two large theatres, central prep room, Dental room and imaging room. We have top-rated arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and endoscopy equipment, along with an excellent ultrasound machine and in-house lab.
About the Team and Culture
By far the best thing about our practice is our fantastic team, we have 7 vets who are supported by 7 registered veterinary nurses. We are a friendly and close-knit team and we like to discuss cases, share knowledge and skills to help everyone develop in their role.
