We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join our fantastic client's team near Lincoln on a permanent full-time basis.

Our client can offer a varied package of benefits along with a competitive salary of £38,500.00 - £40,381.00 depending on experience. In addition, they offer role-specific non-contractual bonuses.
Working hours for this position will be any 5 days out of 7 with a variable shift pattern (40 hours per week). No nights required.
- Shift 1: 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Shift 2: 10:00am - 6:30pm
- Shift 3: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Day to day your duties will involve:
- Carrying out maintenance on production machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Minimising downtime by being responsive and efficient.
- Keeping team members informed on ongoing projects, repairs, or modifications as well as fostering a positive work culture.
- Ensuring all compliance procedures are followed as well as company policies, including PPE.
- Participating in relevant training courses if needed.
- Performing additional duties, projects, or responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Maintaining a passionate and forward-thinking mindset to meet specific goals.
The company is looking for:
- Qualifications and licenses relevant to the engineering sector (minimum L3). Ideally, an accredited cross-trade qualification.
- Field experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of manufacturing legislation & HACCP.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in manufacturing equipment and processes, along with the safety requirements in maintenance and repair.
- Organisation, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and attention to detail are a must within this position.
- A natural ability to work within a team or alone.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and approachable attitude.
Due to the location, you will require your own transport; it is not possible to reach the site using public transport.
