The post-holder will provide a psychology service to patients under the K-FiT weight management programme and the liver transplant service at the Royal Free Hospital. This includes assessment and intervention for common psychological difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, and emotional eating, which may impact treatment outcomes. You will work closely with the K-FiT multidisciplinary team to support patients living with kidney failure and obesity to achieve weight loss goals for transplant eligibility. In the liver transplant service, you will provide brief psychological interventions to inpatients. Through this role, you will gain experience delivering psychological support in complex physical health contexts, working alongside senior psychologists and a wider clinical team.
