As COO, you will be responsible for optimizing the management of the company's leadership team, assets, daily operations, implementing strategic plans, and delivering performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Senior Management: Lead a management team, set strategies and objectives, and oversee daily operational functions.
2. Relationships: Manage collaborations with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
3. Staff Development: Foster a work environment that encourages ownership and growth.
4. Pack Houses: Oversee optimal and effective processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
5. Marketing: Develop strategies to increase sales and strengthen the brand, working with sales departments to explore new markets.
6. Logistics: Manage the transport, storage, and distribution of products to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
7. Technical Department: Collaborate with the engineering team.
8. Packaging Materials: Control stock and costs of packaging materials, ensuring client specifications are met.
9. Performance Monitoring: Analyze management information and propose improvements.
10. Expansion Activities: Participate in investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances.
11. Other: Ensure integrated and efficient operations while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role.
2. A proven management track record with in-depth knowledge of financial management, strategic planning, and risk management.
3. A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in one or more of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering.
4. An MBA qualification will be advantageous.
5. A passion for agriculture is essential.
