As a Product Technologist at Sainsbury's, your role will encompass the management and delivery of all aspects of the Sainsbury’s Brand product and technical plans for the product area. You will work closely with suppliers, product developers, trading, supply chain, and retail teams to ensure the safe, legal, and high-quality production of Sainsbury's brand products that meet agreed specifications, standards, and policies. In this role, your focus will be on driving the quality and technical agenda for the Womenswear product area, including the delivery of our Net Zero commitments and keeping the customer at the heart of all decisions.
What you'll do:
1. Manage and deliver all aspects of the Sainsbury’s Brand product and technical plans for the Womenswear product area.
2. Ensure the safety, legality, and high-quality production of Sainsbury's brand products.
3. Drive the technical agenda, manage projects, and implement quality standards.
4. Set supplier KPIs, manage supplier compliance, and enhance product quality.
5. Communicate product information accurately and ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
