EIS Financial Services:
EIS Financial Services was originally formed by The Educational Institute of Scotland (Teachers Union) to give EIS Union members and their families access to a dedicated team of professional financial planners providing impartial advice including retirement planning and investment planning with a strong understanding of the Teachers’ and other educational specialists pension schemes. The company now belongs to Cornmarket Group Financial Services and remains the preferred financial planner for the EIS FS Union on behalf of its members.
Purpose of the Role:
The Review Team Assistant will work within the review team (operations) and provide administrative support service to our team of reviewers.
Location:
This is a permanent position. Hours are flexible by discussion. Training will be given and initially this will mean being based in the EIS Financial Services offices in Glasgow. However, working from home may be possible.
What is expected in this job (Accountabilities):
1. Check and field enquiry emails concerning client reviews.
2. Maintain client data in ‘Intelligent Office’ in a timely and accurate manner. Scan various documents to IO.
3. Ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
4. Print and issue paper-based client reviews.
5. Maintain diary system and proactively follow up as appropriate.
6. Collect, input and correct data received from client update forms.
7. Review preparation/confirmation of standing client details.
8. Checking client reviews for accuracy.
9. Preparing portfolio reports.
10. Spreadsheet management.
11. Provide a professional, friendly and compliant service to our customers in person and over the phone.
12. Comply with the risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role.
The level of Knowledge / Skills / Experience (Technical Competency) required for the role:
1. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
2. An awareness of life, pension, investment products is desirable.
3. Experience using the “Intelligent Office” CRM system in financial services is desirable.
4. Experience providing excellent customer service over the phone and in person is desirable.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Strong organization skills.
7. Experience working collaboratively as part of a team is desirable.
8. No financial services experience is required.

Salary:
Real living wage per hour dependent on hours worked. Pension contributions. Membership of PHI scheme (after 12 months). Discretionary bonus. Educational support for further study/qualifications.
