Marketing Executive - £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
We are Mantra Learning, the UK’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 56 years. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.
Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long-term growth of the industry.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver interventions that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work’.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our friendly team. The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Your duties will include but won’t be limited to:
Copywriting: Create compelling, high-quality content for various marketing materials, including websites, blogs, newsletters, emails and social media
Copywriting: Create internal and external communications for publishing through various channels and media
SEO Optimisation: Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and enhance user engagement
Content Management: Regularly update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance, adhering to best SEO practices
Provide proof-reading services across the Group
Study data to understand what our targeted customers are looking for, how they engage with our digital presence, and measure the effectiveness of our SEO strategy and tactic
Use digital research tools to identify search trends, and then create content that optimizes search results
Ability to produce content for each brand, ensuring all work is kept in line with the particular brand’s DNA
Understand customer journeys, buyer personas, pain points and hot points and utilise to develop BTL content
Build relationships with clients and colleagues, owning your work and pitching ideas to the wider team. Working with stakeholders to develop and deliver content plans
Develop optimised content for websites, video blogs, social media and more, to drive traffic and generate leads
Improve ROI for paid social media campaigns
Contribute to the broader Organic Performance (OP) strategy using your influencing and negotiating skills to ensure content production is integral
Skills & Qualifications
Degree-level or equivalent Apprenticeship in Marketing or related studies
GCSE A - C or equivalent in maths and English and ICT qualification Level 3
Strong MS Office experience with excellent Excel skills, preferably some HTML and CSS experience and Adobe Creative Suite or Photoshop.
A strong understanding of technology, digital systems and willingness to implement digital tools for engineering project delivery
Education
Portfolio evidencing previous marketing experience.
Relevant work experience (12 months+) and a passion for marketing and brand engagement
