Our client is an employee-owned entrepreneurial energy business. The company’s focus is on providing flexible generation and grid stability services to support the UK energy sector’s transition to net zero. They currently have multiple major contracts in the grid stability/ power generation world where they are a leader in the industry and quickly becoming the go to client. As an Asset Engineer, you will join a growing team responsible for onboarding, and operational management of a number of nationally strategic grid stability and grid-scale battery energy storage facilities. Working independently (potentially from a home location), you will develop technical expertise in the operation of synchronous grid stability and stationary battery storage assets, becoming fully responsible for the engineering management of all aspects of these novel facilities. You'll need a UK driving license as traveling to sites will be an important part of this role. The company can offer a competitive salary, and tax-free dividends. Due to the travelling in this role, a company car will be provided. Location - Preference for this candidate to be based in Aberdeenshire, Inverness or surrounding areas.
