We’re recruiting for a Transformation Partner to join us. As a Transformation Partner, you report to the Group Transformation Director and act as a strategic thought partner for our technology programme (Polaris). You will be expected to collaborate with workstreams and the Transformation Office (TO) to foster a unified approach, promote a culture of change, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the transformation process.
What you'll be doing:
1. Be a strategic partner with stakeholders across the TO, workstreams, and other senior business stakeholders to provide support and guidance in transformation initiatives.
2. Build relationships with Workstream Leads, Delivery Leads, and the Group Senior Management Team to optimise interactions, flow, and influence across the organisation.
3. Act as a key enabler across the transformation, facilitating workstream and delivery leads to identify key dependencies, enablers, and mitigators to achieve successful delivery.
4. Ensure that initiatives are designed and executed effectively, in line with the transformation methodology, ensuring benefits are delivered, with measurable impact to the bottom line.
5. Oversee insights and data to drive strategic decision-making, ensuring that transformation initiatives align with long-term organisational objectives, prioritising initiatives to create a higher ROI.
6. Resolve escalated issues or roadblocks, including Financial and Risk issues. Establish a framework for continuous improvement to reduce future roadblocks, and promote and implement innovative solutions.
7. Develop and implement strategies to enhance change readiness across L&G, collaborating with the business to ensure alignment and support for changes in the workstream(s). You will need to foster a culture that embraces change and innovation, encouraging continuous improvement and adaptability.
8. In line with Consumer Duty: ensure that appropriate prioritising, planning, resourcing, and contingency for customer issues are integrated into the programme so they are central to delivery and aligned to Legal & General’s commitment to put customers at the centre of our business and deliver good customer outcomes.
Who we're looking for:
1. You must have extensive experience delivering transformation on large-scale programmes (>c.£50m portfolio) and be familiar with Technology and Finance transformation.
2. We require you to have experience in steering and managing large-scale transformation initiatives, and expertise in developing and implementing strategies to enhance change readiness throughout an organisation.
3. Experience of IT and Tech transformation is desirable; however, those with change and transformation experience from other domains will be considered.
4. You’ll need to be an exceptional communicator with experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication plans through transformation programmes.
5. You must have the ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans and leverage data for strategic decision-making.
6. Experience of managing complex projects, knowledge of customer-centric strategies, and strong stakeholder management skills are a must.
