Job Summary:
At Ilchester Dental Care, our Front Of House Team leads the way, setting the stage for our patient experience and ensuring our patients leave with a smile on their face.
We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a modern and welcoming environment. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing outstanding customer service to our patients.
Duties:
1. Warmly greeting patients, to set the tone for their experience.
2. Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimum diary efficiency as well as patient satisfaction.
3. Managing patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
4. Answering enquiries and queries on the telephone, emails and also our Live Chat facilities, in a professional and friendly way, in a prompt fashion.
5. Coordinate with the dental team to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.
6. Processing payments, keeping correct cash and card procedures.
7. Discussing Patient Finance and Dental Care Plans with confidence and accuracy, to ensure patients utilise these options as much as possible.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an administrative or office role. Whilst not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with Dental experience.
2. Computer proficiency, ensuring a smooth transition to our dental software. Again, whilst not mandatory, experience on dental software (specifically SOE's EXACT) will be given preference.
3. A very organised, attentive and focused individual, able to multi-task to a high level.
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and others courteously.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient care.
