Job Description:
One of the world’s leading financial services companies (products used by 93% of Fortune 500) requires a Data & Analytics consultant. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, propose and develop solutions, and lead analytical and consultancy projects, including complex modelling using CRA data. You will engage with external customers/stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
* Engage proactively with clients, developing partnerships with risk/analytics teams and understanding their industries, business models, challenges, and opportunities.
* Lead a small team of analysts, providing supervision and leadership.
* Write proposals to secure new analytics and consultancy opportunities.
* Deliver analytics projects leveraging CRA data, including credit strategy and model development, covering all stages from sample design to reject analysis.
* Develop deep understanding of data sources across consumer, commercial, and open banking sectors.
* Apply statistical techniques (Regression, Machine Learning, Decision Trees, CHAID, Cluster Analysis) to solve business problems.
* Use data mining tools and programming languages Python and SQL for data preparation, analysis, and solution development.
* Present proposals, approaches, and results to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences and C-Suite executives.
* Understand the regulatory landscape affecting clients.
* Collaborate with Sales and Strategy teams to shape broader opportunities and solutions.
Required Experience:
* Proficiency in Python and SQL in a credit risk environment.
* Experience using credit bureau data.
* Innovative mindset with a track record of leveraging data for business benefit.
* Strong technical skills in statistical techniques.
* Excellent communication and consulting skills.
* Leadership and management experience.
* Experience in analytical consultancy within big data environments.
* Deep industry and regulatory knowledge.
* Exposure to machine learning techniques.
* Cloud experience with GCP or Amazon AWS.
This position offers a basic salary between £70-80K, excellent benefits, and a bonus scheme. The role requires 3 days a week in the office.
