We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Berkshire Specialist Perinatal Teamwhich provide mental health care to birthingpopulation in the six localities of Berkshire. You will be a valued member of the Multidisciplinary teamto interface across the serviceand our clients.
Thesuccessful applicantwill support the effective operation of the Perinatal Mental Health Service, providing high quality organisational,administrativeand secretarial support to the MDT.
Youwillbe requiredto work with minimal supervision to provide professional secretarial and administration support to Perinatal Mental Health Service. As a valued member of the team, you will have good interpersonal skills and confident inoperatinga wide range of systems and processand alsoassistin the promotion of high-quality services whilst adhering to the Trust’s Core Standards and Values.
1. To undertake a range of clerical & administration duties within thePerinatal Mental HealthServiceina sensitive and polite manner whilst providing a comprehensive & efficient clerical service to patients and clinical staff within the Trust.
1. To answer telephone calls into theservicefromour external agencies,patients, carers,staffandall otherprofessional staff in a helpful,professionaland courteous manner and to ensure all calls are dealt with politely and efficiently and rerouted whereappropriate.
1. The post holder is expected to liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, departments, externalorganisationsand the public, dealing with confidential information inan appropriate manner.
1. The post holder is expected to act on their own initiativeon a daily basisto ensure the effective running of the Perinatal Mental Health Service, prioritising their own workload with guidance from theadministrativemanager.
2. To be the first point of contact for the patients/clients when required. Receive telephone calls and visitors, taking messages and undertaking initial investigations and action whenrequiredand promote effective communication across the team

1. You will be highly skilled in IT functionsincludingMicrosoft Excell, Google documents,Microsoft word365, Power point presentation,publisherand others. Knowledge on the use of RIOis desirable.
2. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise to ensureurgent needsof the serviceareattended to at all times
3. To have knowledge on general administrative tasksuch as typing, record keeping and information management
