The Royal College of Art (RCA) is seeking new Associate Lecturers to join the Technical Studies team within the School of Architecture. We are particularly interested in candidates with teaching experience and a background in Environmental Design and Sustainability or practicing architects with construction experience across multiple scales.
Role Overview:
As an Associate Lecturer, you will teach alongside the Architecture Design Studio (ADS) and support students in developing the technical aspects of their design work during terms 2 and 3 of the academic calendar. You will guide a tutorial group of 6-9 students, providing tutorials and support throughout their projects and into assessments.

Learning & Teaching:
Deliver high-quality teaching content tailored to individual student needs.
Contribute to cross-school and cross-disciplinary teaching and activities.
Provide academic, pastoral, and, where appropriate, technical tutorial support through regular one-to-one meetings.
Offer constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and work quality.
Stay current with subject matter and professional contexts, ensuring up-to-date knowledge.
Keep informed on innovations and best practices in teaching and learning.
Participate in student assessments.
