We are on the lookout for a candidate who excels in communication to engage with our tenants through various methods, ensuring they understand and comply with their tenancy conditions. This role encompasses a broad spectrum of tenancy and neighbourhood management tasks, aimed at meeting and surpassing performance benchmarks and quality standards. As a key representative of the Dacorum Borough Council to its tenants, professionalism, diligence, and a commitment to teamwork are indispensable.
The ideal candidate will bring a background in Housing Management, marked by innovation, organisational competency, and enthusiasm. Your ability to communicate clearly and tackle issues proactively, devising constructive resolutions, will set you apart. We value curiosity, excellent negotiation, and investigative skills, alongside a respectful, considerate approach to interactions, balancing empathy with assertiveness. Your capability to establish productive relationships with external agencies and navigate high-pressure situations will empower you to address complex challenges effectively.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are adaptable and open to embracing changes that aim to enhance our service delivery. A foundational understanding of Housing Law and experience managing stressful situations, especially within a public-sector housing context, will be considered a significant asset.
