Daily Rate: Outside IR35, competitive based on experience.
I am looking for an experienced Network Engineer. We are recruiting for our clients leading managed network solutions company, specializing in SD-WAN networks, managed Wi-Fi/LAN infrastructure, broadband/leased lines, network security, PCI consultancy, IT support, SOC services, and structured cabling solutions, we are seeking a motivated Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure efficiency, security, and scalability for both internal systems and clients
This role is ideal for a customer facing professional with in-depth knowledge of IP networks and routing protocols, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering cutting-edge solutions, including SD-WAN networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and enhance the network infrastructure with a focus on Meraki technologies.
* Provide technical expertise across all network-related aspects of the business, including Mako and other technologies.
* Deliver network-related components for internal and client projects.
* Collaborate with third-party partners to deliver cost-effective and timely networking services.
* Ensure the security and continuity of network operations.
* Support and implement network changes in adherence to the Change Management Process.
* Train and develop internal teams to meet agreed SLAs.
* Ensure the functionality and usability of network management tools for teams such as NOC and
* Operations.
* Assist senior team members in achieving KPI targets.
* Maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams and technical standards.
Qualifications & Skills
* CCNA certification required; CCNP is desirable (support for obtaining available).
* Strong expertise in Meraki networks is essential.
* Knowledge of Mako networks and adaptability to other network technologies.
* Proficiency in firewalls and multi-site IPSec VPN setup/configuration.
* Advanced understanding of IP schemes in complex environments.
* Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi design and deployment.
* Proficient in Microsoft tools and applications.
* Demonstrated ability to research and present technical solutions effectively.
* Experience with WAN/LAN network design and delivery.
* Exposure to project management methodologies
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
* Ability to collaborate across stakeholder groups and influence decisions effectively.
* SD-WAN knowledge (desirable, with training provided).
* Understanding of PCI DSS compliance is an advantage.
