Position Description If you love providing support in Program Management for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) project lifecycle of planning, design, construction, and fit outs, then this is a great opportunity for you. This Program Manager position will provide Program Management support on the Engineering Subject Matter Specialist (ESMS) program in support of the 48 Civil Engineer Squadron / Engineering Flight at RAF Lakenheath, UK. You will be a part of a team that performs planning, programming, design development, integration with existing physical plant, documentation, and construction management of facility. These infrastructure projects will have varying scope and cost. In this role, you will: - Function as a Program Manager for facility and infrastructure projects - Responsible for coordination of complete project lifecycle of SCIF projects included in the Surety program. - Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously - Duties will include the review of project designs and management of construction phase activities to ultimately ensure successful commissioning and transfer to full operational capability status. - Provide all required deliverables to the Project Management office within agreed due dates - Work closely with coworkers from various construction/engineering disciplines to ensure project deliverables are being met and projects remain on schedule - Provide project status updates and briefings to customer management - Demonstrate familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures from a business perspective - Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Perform a variety of complicated tasks - May lead and direct the work of others - Exhibit a wide degree of creativity and latitude - Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: - An active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship - A High School Diploma. - 5 years demonstrable experience in managing, planning, coordination, and oversight of facility and infrastructure projects involving the construction or maintenance of facilities, buildings, roadways, and building systems related to the job description listed above. - Experience in the delivery of secure facilities, to include SCIF/Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) design and construction related to the job description stated above. - Must have a current US Passport and meet visa requirements for travel to United Kingdom countries. - A valid US Driver's License Additional desired experience and skills: - A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture and or construction management - A Project Management Professional (PMP) or A Member Association of Project Management (MAPM) desired - Demonstrable experience with UK and US design and construction standards. - Demonstrable understanding applicable UK and US health and safety standards - The ability to travel up to 10% as requested - International Driving Permit (IDP) is preferred - A valid US Driver's License, REAL ID Benefits: - https://www.serco.com/na/careers/about-us - Relocation assistance may be available. - Serco's Partnership with Skill Bridge See Details: Partnership With Skill Bridge (serco.com) Military Veterans and Spouses encouraged to apply This contract is scheduled to start soon, so apply now to meet your future mission and team-mates.
